Rooms Available to rent at The Humber Therapy Centre
The beauty of the Humber Therapy Centre is that we have a large number of rooms, most of which can be adapted to suit different therapies and treatments and we have very flexible room booking arrangements. We can accommodate ad hoc hourly bookings, weekly and monthly bookings. In addition we do not operate a retainer system.
Humber Therapy centre consists of 14 Therapy Rooms:
- 9 ‘Talking’ Therapy Rooms
- 5 ‘Physical Treatment’ Rooms
Our nine Talking therapy rooms have comfortable seating and coffee tables and benefit from air conditioning. our rooms are suitable for all forms of talking therapies, counselling, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and life coaching.
Our five large treatment rooms are equipped with electric couches, wash basins and desks. These are suitable for holistic, beauty, bodywork and aesthetic treatments as well as medical consultations.
The Humber Therapy Centre has twelve dedicated client car parking spaces at the front of the building and plenty of car parking to the rear of the building for practitioners.
All rooms have access to wired and wireless super-fast fibre broadband.
The Humber Therapy Centres benefits from a staff kitchen where practitioners can help themselves to inclusive hot drinks and chilled filtered water. Microwaves, toaster and fridges are also available for your use.
Ground Floor Rooms
Reception
Incorporating the original high ceilings, iron pillars and wooden beams, The Humber Therapy Centre’s reception and waiting area is bright, welcoming and is staffed throughout opening hours. There are wash rooms located at both ends of the building including an accessible toilet and baby change area.
Tandem – Treatment Room
Welcome to Tandem, a versatile treatment room designed to cater to the unique needs of professionals like you. Named after one of the earliest bicycles produced in this historic building, Tandem offers a spacious and fully equipped environment, featuring an electric treatment couch, desk, and wash basin.
Our Tandem room is perfectly suited for physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage therapy, offering the ideal space for hands-on physical therapy treatments. Located on the right side of the building, Tandem enjoys abundant natural sunlight from early morning, creating a welcoming and rejuvenating atmosphere for your practice.
Mercian – Therapy Room
Mercian is named after the Derby based bicycle manufacturer. Mercian is a medium sized room with comfortable chairs and wash basin and pop up desktop. The room can host up to four people for counselling, psychotherapy or hypnotherapy. The room is located on the right side of the building which benefits from bright sunlight from early morning.
Boardman – Therapy Room
Boardman is named after the popular cycle brand and Olympic gold medallist Chris Boardman OBE. Boardman is a medium sized room with comfortable chairs and wash basin and pop up desktop. The room is suitable for couples counselling, psychotherapy or hypnotherapy. The room is located on the right side of the building which benefits from bright sunlight from early morning.
Pendleton – Treatment Room
Pendleton is named after the popular cycle brand and multiple gold medallist Victoria Pendleton CBE. Pendleton is one of our largest treatment rooms which includes an electric treatment couch, desk and wash basin. This room is suitable for holistic, beauty, bodywork and aesthetic treatments as well as medical consultations. The room is located on the right side of the building which benefits from bright sunlight from early morning.
Carlton – Therapy Room
Carlton is named after the classic Nottinghamshire bicycle manufacturer. Carlton is one of our largest therapy rooms. The room would be great for couples and family therapy / group work and for therapy that requires larger floor space such as play therapy, drama therapy and art therapies. The room is located on the right side of the building which benefits from natural light from a skylight style window.
Carrera – Treatment Room
Carrera is named after the popular cycle brand. Carrera is a large treatment room which includes an electric treatment couch, desk and wash basin. This room is suitable for holistic, beauty, bodywork and aesthetic treatments as well as medical consultations. The room can accommodate two couches, ideal for training small groups. The room is located on the left side of the building which benefits from plenty of afternoon sunlight.
Humber – Therapy Room
Humber is named after Thomas Humber who founded Humber bicycles and cars, many manufactured in this very building. Humber is a large therapy rooms. The room works well for couples and family therapy. With its extra space, casual seating, desk, chairs and sink, this room is popular for play and art therapies. The room is located on the left side of the building which benefits from plenty of afternoon sunlight.
Brompton – Treatment Room
Brompton is named after the popular British commuter cycle brand. Brompton is a large sized room which includes an electric treatment couch, desk and wash basin. This room is suitable for holistic, beauty, bodywork and aesthetic treatments as well as medical consultations. The room is located on the left side of the building which benefits from plenty of afternoon sunlight.
Raleigh – Therapy Room
Raleigh is named after the iconic bicycle manufacturer founded in Nottingham. Raleigh is a large sized room which includes tub chairs, full size table, office chairs and wash basin. The room works well for couples and family therapy. With its extra space, casual seating, desk, chairs and sink, this room is popular for play and art therapies. The room is located on the left side of the building which benefits from plenty of afternoon sunlight.
Lotus – Therapy Room
Lotus is named after the brand better known for cars but has engineered groundbreaking cycles for four decades helping riders win both the Tour de France and Olympic medals. Lotus is a small and cosy room ideal for any kind of talking therapy. The room is located on the left side of the building which benefits from natural light from a skylight style window.
Penny Farthing – Multipurpose Room
Ideal for Talking Therapy or Physiotherapy
Penny Farthing is named after one of the earliest forms of bicycles to be produced in this building. Penny Farthing is a large sized room which includes an electric treatment couch, desk and wash basin. This room is suitable for holistic, beauty, bodywork, as well as medical consultations.
The room converts easily into a talking therapy room with treatment couch covered over and comfortable seating added. The room is located on the left side of the building which benefits from plenty of afternoon sunlight.
Keirin – Therapy Room
Keirin is named after the velodrome track cycle race. Keirin is a medium sized room with comfortable tub chairs and wash basin. The room is suitable for couples counselling, family therapy, psychotherapy. The room is located on the left side of the building which benefits from plenty of afternoon sunlight.
Rudge – Therapy Room
Rudge is named after the historic midlands based cycle manufacturer. Rudge is a medium sized room with comfortable chairs and wash basin and pop up desktop. The room is suitable for couples counselling, psychotherapy or hypnotherapy. The room is located on the left side of the building which benefits from plenty of afternoon sunlight.
